About Me

I am a speech pathologist based in Perth, Western Australia, and I am also a mum navigating the realities of raising an autistic child with complex needs. This lived experience shapes how I show up for both children and their families. I understand the emotional load parents carry, and I also understand how important it is for children to feel safe, respected and truly seen in therapy.

Because I live this journey myself, I approach therapy with children in a way that is patient, flexible and deeply attuned. I am mindful of sensory needs, emotional regulation, anxiety and trust, and I prioritise building connection before expectations. Therapy is child-led, strengths-based and grounded in supporting communication in ways that feel achievable and meaningful for each individual child.

Working exclusively in the ASD space is deeply personal for me. I am passionate about supporting autistic children and teenagers to communicate in ways that honour who they are, while helping them build confidence, autonomy and participation in everyday life. I aim to create sessions where children feel safe to communicate, explore and grow without pressure to perform or mask.

Alongside this, I place a strong emphasis on supporting families. I work collaboratively with parents and teams so that communication support is realistic, sustainable and aligned across home, school and community. My goal is to walk alongside families and children, offering support that feels human, respectful and grounded in real life.
